1020 - patrolled island.

1100 - spoke with a resident about a past vehicle accident.

1310 - attempted to serve harassment paperwork on an resident living on Brackett Ave.  Nobody home at the time.

1450 - responded to Pleasant Ave. with FD to address for a water leak in a residence.  Water shut off and owner on scene.

1540 - responded to 50 Luther St. for a keep the peace call as a former tenant was removing his belongings from 
the address.

2150 - checked DPW property.

Met the boats throughout the day as schedule allowed.

0800 - met ferry and patrolled island.

0930 - met ferry.

1010 - patrolled Central Ave.

1150 - monitored traffic on Pleasant Ave.

1420 - spoke with an individual about a golf cart rental he had with one of the companies.  Miscommunication led to the owner of the golf cart repossessing it. 

1620 - spoke with a resident who wasn't happy about a police vehicle accident filed on her behalf a couple of weeks ago.

2100 - spoke with a resident from Luther St. about an on going landlord/tenant dispute.  Explained that we can't remove the individual and she must go through the proper court channels.

2240 - checked DPW property.

1100 - served an individual a summons to appear in court for an outstanding protection order.

1200 - patrolled island.

1415 - spoke with a resident who had lost a purse over the weekend, was inquiring if anyone had turned it in. 

2240 - checked DPW property.

Met boats as schedule allowed.

*** Remember to always fill out an application for a burn permit when interested in having a small cookout.  This way, FD is aware of the location in case we need to respond and when people call to complain about it, we can inform them that it is a legal fire.

1905 - spoke with a resident who thought there might have been a fire on Reed Ave.  Checked area, 
all set.  Family cooking lobsters.

2210 - checked DPW property.

Lots of people on the island and multiple weddings taking place in the late afternoon and night.

1100 - medcu 312 run to area of 344 Seashore Ave for a female who fell.  Treated at scene and transported to fireboat for transport to Maine Med.

1310 - responded to 88 Trefethen to speak with a resident about ongoing child custody issues.  No crime.

1405 - medcu 312 run to Spruce St. for a male that fell and hurt shoulder.  Treated at scene and refused transport.  
He was making plans to leave island on the 1445 ferry.

1430 - lost wallet turned over by Island and Trefethen.


2140 - checked DPW property.

High population on island today.

1050 - loose dog in area of 600 Sea shore -- unable to locate upon arrival. 

2140 - garbage bin fire by Evergreen landing.  FD put out.

2240 - fireworks call to 560 Seashore Ave.  Spoke to a few people there without anybody admitting they did it. 

2330 - checked battery steele.  All quiet.

Noticing a ton of bikes being left all over the island without being locked up.  Please help the situation and secure your bike when leaving it for extended periods of time.

Tip of the day:  Put your contact information on a tag for your dog, so that if it escapes you can be located. We regularly seem to be finding dogs who get out screen doors, windows and fenced yards. We spend quite a bit of time trying to locate the owners. We do not have a holding facility here on Peaks, if we can’t locate you, the next logical step is the Animal Refuge League in Westbrook.

0835 - 911 hang up in area of 459 Island.  All clear upon our arrival.

0930 - responded to area of Whaleback and Seashore for two males roaming around looking into house windows.  Made contact with them and attempted to get them to their boat which was on a mooring by the TEIA club.  One of the individuals suffered a medical emergency and both were transported off the island.

1140 - minor car accident by 76 Island Ave. 

1830 - medical call to Pleasant Ave.  Patient transported to fire boat without incident.

2040 - 911 hang up on Willow St.  Residents have been having issues with their phone lines.  

2240 - checked DPW property.
