-Don’t use excessive amounts of paper to build roaring fires in fireplaces. It is possible to ignite creosote in the chimney by overbuilding the fire.

1520 - spoke with a resident about a verbal domestic that just occurred.  Report taken.

1600 - spoke with the second half of the domestic call to get their side.

0730 House chores and vehicle inspections

Patrolled the island

Talked to several owners of abandoned vehicles that have not moved their vehicles after they said they would. Making arrangements to tow a very large boat with trailer off the island that is parked on Island Ave.

Report of fireworks on Sandy Beach GOA

Patrolled the island and met ferries throughout the day as duties permitted.

0700 - arrived on island.

0800 - met ferry and patrolled island.

0930 - patrolled Brackett Ave and met 0945 ferry.

1100 - met ferry.

1230 - met ferry and patrolled island.

1430 - met ferry.

1520 - patrolled Central Ave and met 1530 ferry.

1615 - responded to area of 750 Seashore Ave for a suspicious bottle on the road.  Determined it was a homemade buoy that broke off and washed ashore and someone brought it up to the road.  Removed from scene and disposed of.

1930 - met ferry.

2030 - met ferry and checked DPW property.
