0700 - arrived on island.

0715 - patrolled island.

0800 - met ferry.

0825 - medcu 12 run to 76 Island Ave. (Hannigan's).  FD treated at scene and released.  No transported.

0945 - patrolled island and met 1030 ferry.

1045 - responded to children's workshop for fire alarm sounding.  Everything fine on arrival.  False alarm.

1125 - vehicle(golf cart) stopped around 600 Seashore ave.  Operator was of age and had valid license.

1230 - participated and completed EMS on line training.

1530 - met ferry.

1645 - met ferry and patrolled island.

1750 - met ferry.

1810 - warned a individual for drinking in public around 700 Seashore Ave.

2030 - met ferry and patrolled island.

2125 - responded to area of 176 Seashore Ave. for a reported fire on rocks.  Cooking fire, but we informed the smoke was bothering neighbors, so they put it out.

2245 - met ferry.

0420 - responded to 87 Central Ave. for a animal complaint.  Animal was gone before I got there.

 

*** Remember that parking is no longer permitted on Island Ave. from Welch St. to approximately the post office for the summer months.  It really has helped out the car ferry lane without the double parked cars.

16. 0405 Criminal trespass at a cottage on Island Ave near the club. Intoxicated/high unknown male walked into the cottage and fell asleep on the couch. He refused to leave at first thinking he was at the Inn. The homeowner convinced him to leave just prior to out arrival. We checked the area to no avail. The homeowner did not want to press charges or serve CT paperwork unless he was located and being a problem.  Approximately thirty minutes later I located the male walking on Island Ave by the Police station.  He was identified as a resident of xxx Central Ave.  He stated that was intoxicated and went into the wrong house, he left when the picture became clearer to him.  He apologized and stated that it would not happen again.
17. Officers patrolled the island throughout the day, rain kept numbers low and cancelled reggae.

0720 - patrolled island.

0800 - met ferry.

0820 - responded to area of 268 Pleasant Ave. for a loose dog.  Dog returned to owner.

0910 - cleaned police vehicle and engine 12. 

0930 - met ferry.

1020 - patrolled island and met 1030 ferry.  Picked up our community services coordinators to help assist us with the open house.

1130 - assisted coordinators with the station house open house.

1350 - responded to legion for 2:00 parade.

1430 - met ferry.
