As the peak of the holiday gift-buying season
approaches and more people are ordering online, UPs and FedEx are busy moving
packages to homes throughout the city. Many of these consumers are working when
these packages are being dropped on their door step, and these items are left
unattended for hours. This is easy picking for wandering thieves. Some thieves
follow U.P.S. and FedEx trucks along their routes and nab the gifts, while
others simply drive through residential neighborhoods looking for packages.
