Keep your dogs on a leash and hold on to that leash! The Island is full of
cars, golf carts, people and many other unpredictable dogs. Even the best
behaved dog can get in trouble. With the noise and confusion in congested areas
you need to have a firm hold of your dog. There were several incidents of dogs
running off, dragging leashes as they went, today when freight was being
loaded/unloaded at the bottom of Welch St.
(Harbor Master Kevin Battle was out during the late evening and caught a
boat burglar at a marina in town)
