0800- 911 hang up in area of 10 Garden Place-no answer on multiple calls
back-several people in the area parking to go to boat-no one had tried to call
911-nothing found--met ferry-PFD shift change
0930- met ferry-patrolled Island
1000- Prince Ave-checking on vehicle stuck in mud-owners on site calling
wrecker
1030- met ferry-patrolled Island
1130- met ferry-patrolled Island
1230- met ferry-patrolled Island
1430- met ferry-PFD shift change-checked the ball field due to previous
damage
1522- Fire on the rocks across from 196 Seashore-embers from night
before-put out
1544- met ferry
1645- met ferry-patrolled Island
1945- tourists stopped at station to see equipment
2030- met ferry-large lobster bake group @dock-moved out of the way of
disembarking passengers
2130- met ferry-patrolled Island
2150- 85 Prince Ave 911 hang up-no answer on multiple calls back-dispatch
made contact eventually-call was for flashlight at neighbor's house-owner's
brother-in-law at house
2245- met ferry
2300- patrolled Island
Please remember that if you call 911 and hang up or are disconnected, the
911 operators will call you back. Instead of ignoring their call it would be
helpful if you answered and let them know what the problem is. If it is a true
emergency it will help us locate you more efficiently and if it was a mistake
there isn't a problem.
