0700 - arrived on island, drove around island and met 0800 ferry.

0820 - returned a missing bike from tuesday 8/7/12.

0930 - met ferry.

1015 - picked up bike from Lions Club-- was familiar with it and returned it to owner.

1045 - met ferry.

1115 - drove through Central Ave. and met 1130 ferry.

1220 - returned another missing bike to owner at 12 Ocean Spray rd.

1345 - drove through Brackett Ave.

1415 - spoke with manager of the TEIA and took a report for theft and criminal mischief that occurred to the club.

1530 - met ferry.

1645 - met ferry.

1740 - responded to TEIA club for loose dog. Owner was out looking for it. Dog and owner were reunited.

1900 - drove around island and met 1930 ferry.

2015 - parking complaint by 21 Island Ave. Cleared up by the time I arrived.

2030 - met ferry.

2115 - drove through DPW and met 2130 ferry.

2245 - met frry.

2330 - drove through TEIA providing special attention.

2345 - met ferry.

0800- fireside shift change, report of a racoon acting strange on Tolman Rd

0900- 79 Island ave reported strange noises on the 2nd floor, backup hard drive reported missing from the bracket St. church

1000- checked the ferry, checked the welch St.. parking lot

1100- checked the ferry, patrolled

1200- 2 bicycles reported taken from 40 central ave.

1300- patrolled the back of the island

1400-79 Island ave reports someone on the second floor, house checked and found empty, 2nd report of a racoon acting strange on Tolman rd

1500- checked the ferry, patrolled

1600- checked the ferry, checked then community center

1700- checked the ferry

1800- report of bicycle taken from infront of the library

1900-reports of bicycles taken from Seashore ave, and the whitehead area

2000- Liam fox stopped in area of stolen bicycles, had been drinking, taken to the station and released to his dad

2100 stolen bicycle recovered infront of the inn at Peaks

2200- checked the ferry, patrolled

2300- checked the ferry, patrolled

, checked the community center

with bicycle thefts on the rise everyone should take a minute and put a lock on their bicycles . all the bicycles taken today were unlocked and out in the open.

0800 - met ferry and picked up firefighter partner.

0820 - drove around island.

0930 - met ferry.

0935 - met with resident from Great Diamond Island at ferry. Reported a theft that occurred on G.D.I. Witness statement and report taken at the station house.

1130 - met ferry.

1230 - met ferry.

1310 - drove through Central Ave.

1415 - assisted FD in filling up community garden.

1500 - drove through Brackett Ave and met 1530 ferry.

1610 - responded to picnic point for a loose dog complaint.

1645 - met ferry.

1750 - met ferry.

1900 - drove around island and met 1930 ferry.

2030 - met ferry.

2130 - met ferry.

2200 - drove around island and met 2245 ferry.

2340 - responded to 55 Ocean st. for a resident who had a bat in the house. We were able to remove the bat.

0045 - checked TEIA property.

0100 - checked DPW property.

*****Quick reminder---- there has been an increase in bike thefts or bike "borrowing" on the island. Normally, the bikes just reappear in a day or two but yesterday a complainant reported her bike missing that was valued at $800 - $1000 dollars. Regardless of value this is a crime that would never occur if we put a small, cheap lock on it.*******
