DPW asked to use different equipment when picking up the trash on lower Welch St because of

the odor left behind from the liquid coming from the truck.

Monitored traffic on Island Ave, very heavy with a few issues addressed

Monitored traffic at the ferry line, very busy with a few issued addressed

Met the Ferry throughout the day as time permitted.

Gave SA to Central Ave

07/5/2016  Robert Lauterbach Day shift

0700 - arrived on island.

0800 - met ferry and patrolled island.

0930 - met ferry.

1050 - responded to 40 Welch for parking complaint.  Individual in car when I got there.  They moved with out a problem.

1200 - patrolled island.

1225 - responded to area of 4 Orchard St. for a 911 hang-up.  Nobody around the area.

1430 - end of tour.

For 23 years the clam shell road race has been an island tradition.

I’d like to thank Charles and Sandy Radis for giving up their Forth of July holiday each year to run this event.

0700 - met ferry.

0800 - met ferry and picked up cadet.

0820 - patrolled island.

0930 - met ferry and patrolled island.

1030 - met ferry.

1130 - met ferry and patrolled island.

1215 - responded to 92 Luther St. for dog barking complaint.  Dog home and barking, but nobody else.  Left note on door explaining our visit.  

1430 - met ferry and was relieved by Ofc. Richardson.  End of tour.

07/2/2016   Ofc. Robert Lauterbach

0700 - arrived on island.

0800 - met ferry.

0830 - station house chores.

0900 - assisted FD personnel with equipment transport from loading dock area to station house.

0930 - met ferry and patrolled island.

1030 - met ferry.

1100 - responded to 20 Lower A st. for an abandoned bike.  Transported to the station house.

1215 - patrolled island.

1240 - medcu 312 run to 20 Island Ave. for a child who fell.  Transported to fire boat with out incident.

1700 - responded to area of 41 Elizabeth St. for a 911 hang-up, possible pocket dial.

0200 - small party on beach.  Broken up without problems.

Met boats through out day as schedule permitted.

*** Please be careful driving around the island with the influx of bikes and pedestrians around.
