inspections fixed the shore power to the emergency vehicles.
Finalized plans for 11
unwanted vehicles to be removed from the island on February 8
Citizens reported a dumpster
fire at DPW, we quickly extinguished the fire. Not suspicious.
Met with school personnel
regarding the toy firearm incident.
Patrolled the island and met
ferries throughout the day as duties permitted.
Safety Tip
Please remember not to put wood or coal ashes (HOT OR
COLD) in a combustible containers. Even cold ashes can heat back up after being
exposed to fresh air. This has caused the loss of at least one house on the
island and several smaller fires.
