Officer Rose On duty with Firefighters Weeks, Carmichael and Anderson
Met boats and patrolled throughout the day and evening.
Made minor repairs to the station with the Firefighter.
Assisted Probation and Parol with locating a client.
Assisted citizen with her dog who locked himself in a bedroom.
Safety tip.
Please be involved in your community. Talk to each other and identify
older members who might need a little extra assistance during the cold winter
months. If power outages occur for extended periods of time make contact with
those who might need help. All to often people are to proud to ask for help but
may except a warm meal or just nice company.
Today is my last day stationed on the Island for the summer. I have
enjoyed working out here again and was pleased to see many positive changes. I
would like to thank all of the veteran and new volunteer fire fighters for your
service to the island and for the times you responded to calls to back me up.
