With a few snow storms behind us we are seeing cars being left on
the street during the parking bans and very few hydrants being shoveled out by
homeowners-In an emergency, stopping to shovel a hydrant before hooking up a
line to put out a fire eats up precious time. In addition to wearing light
colored clothing when walking at dusk or after dark, please remember to have all
members of your group walking with you go together to ONE side of the road.
Splitting up and having cars weave in and out of a group is less than
safe..
