4 weddings last night.  No issues as most party goers left on 2130 and 2245 boats.

0720 - vehicle maintenance.

0800 - met ferry and picked up cadet.

0920 - patrolled island.

1015 - attempted to make contact with Jones Landing staff in regards to Sunday's Reggae fest.  No one around 

at this time.

1430 - met ferry and patrolled island.

1530 - met ferry.

1555 - spoke with resident about a ticket they recieved by the cadet for handicap parking.  Individual had a placcard but didn't have it posted.  

1900 - made contact and spoke with owner of Jones Landing.  Let her know our concerns and what needs to be done in the future.

2030 - spoke with resident about his missing bike.  Took a description.

0800 - met ferry.

1005 - patrolled island.

1130 - patrolled Central Ave.

1230 - met new cadet.  Spoke about duties and responsibilities of cadet on Peaks.

1455 - station house chores.

1720 - patrolled island.

1900 - attempted to make contact with resident on Elizabeth St. about on going animal complaint.  Unable to make contact.

2200 - checked DPW property.

Met boats throughout day.

*** Please be considerate when coming down to Welch St. during ferry landing times.  Please leave your home five minutes early to avoid arriving as people and vehicles are emptying out.

Peaks Blog 5/22/2019

0700 - arrived on island.

0800 - met ferry.

0820 - patrolled school zone.

0915 - spoke with DPW about placement of NO PARKING signs on Welch St. for Memorial Day Parade.

0950 - spoke with resident about a animal complaint on Elizabeth St.  Unable to make contact with owner of home.  Will respond later to speak with them.

1120 - 911 hangup in area of Lyndon Rd.  Drove around area multiple times and was unable to see anyone.

1400 - vehicle maintenance.

1730 - made contact with a gentleman at the ferry landing.  Appeared intoxicated as he came off the boat.  After speaking with him it was found that he had multiple outstanding warrants.  Arrested at scene without incident and transported to the mainland via fire boat.  

2200 - checked DPW property.

0700 - arrvived on island.

0800 - met ferry.

0820 - patrolled back shore.

1010 - spoke with a resident at the ferry about her missing bike.  Obtained a description and will let other officers know about it.  

1030 - patrolled Brackett Ave and checked Battery Steele.

1215 - 911 hangup from cell in area of Trefethen.  Nothing suspicious, spoke to only couple I saw in area and they were fine.

1430 - met ferry and spoke to a couple that informed me that they saw a needle on the beach by the ferry landing area.  After getting the proximity of the location, I responded to retrieve it.  Unfortunately after 15 minutes, I wasn't able to spot it.

1900 - spoke with a resident about a lost checkbook.

0820 - monitored traffic near school.

1010 - station house chores.

1100 - spoke to a resident who lost a wallet the day before. 

1420 - reunited a lost shopping bag with its owner while at boat landing.

1800 - responded to school for a apparent loose dog with kids.  Observed a few teenagers but no dog.  They stated they never saw a dog.

2200 - checked DPW property.

*** Please keep in my mind that the Welch St. ferry lane extends soon to Island Ave.

1330 - located lost wallet by ferry and returned to owner.

1430 - relieved by Officer Connolly.

2350 - met with resident at station house about lost i-phone.  Made contact with CBL in hopes to recover it but no such luck.

1145 - responded to area of Welch and Island for vehicle leaking what appeared to fuel from engine block.  

Assisted FD with the cleanup and appears the spill was vegetable fuel.

2225 - responded to Luther St. for a 911 hang up -- on call back, the person stated that they dropped their phone 

and accidentally dialed 911.  Everything seemed to be ok at the location. 

2345 - responded to City Point Rd. for a possible domestic.  Spoke to both parties and completed a report but was more of a check the well being call.

0955 - spoke with resident on Central Ave. about her vehicle keys being given to an officer. 

1100 - spoke to same rwsident two more times.  Call placed to Adult Protective Services on their behalf when family wasn't able to be reached.

1400 - erratci operation call for a golf cart.  Unable to locate.

1630 - leaving the scene of an accident call in the Trefethen lot.  Made contact with both parties and summons issued to the party that left scene without reporting.  Report and statement taken.

2200 - checked DPW property.

0130 - Medcu 12 call to area of Ryefield St for possible overdose.  Patient located and transported to fireboat without incident.  Report taken.

0800 - met ferry. 

0840 - patrolled island and realized there was a nail in one of the cruiser tires.  Responded to DPW and had it replaced.

1100 - spoke with an individual about a missing dog.  

1230 - met ferry and patrolled island.

1720 - patrolled island and checked DPW property.

0920 - assisted FD in transporting spare Fire Engine to Plantes for it to go over to the mainland.

1130 - call for an erractic driver on Island Ave. Unable to locate vehicle.

1630 - Domestic argument on Seashore Ave.  Spoke to both parties and report taken.  No criminal activity.

1850 - patrolled island.

2110 - patrolled island and checked DPW property.

1455 - spoke to both parties regarding last weeks domestic argument.

1455 - patrol back shore.

1720 - well being check at same location of mornings medical call.  Glad to see that the patient was doing much 

better.
