1240 - dispatched to Island Ave home for audible smoke alarm.  Seemed to be a faulty alarm.  

1500 - patrolled island and met 1530 ferry.

1730 - patrolled island and met 1750 ferry.

1920 - responded to school to open door for custodian who locked herself out.  

2110 - responded to top of Welch St. for kids playing basketball in street and being loud. They agreed to call it a night.

2200 - checked DPW property.

2240 - checked CMP property.

0030 - responded to area of Winding Way for a domestic argument.  Minor verbal argument between mom and son.  No crime. Report taken.

0945 - hosted Children's Workshop kids as for safety class.  Kids had a great time. 

1330 - reports of animal howling in area of 660 Seashore Ave.  Unable to locate or hear anything when I arrived.

2215 - closed CMP overhead door after finding it open.  Has happened numerous times in the past.  Nothing suspicious.

*** Remember to lock your bike up when leaving the island.  Just leaving standing by a tree or bench is asking for it to be taking.

Quiet raining day.

*** Please remember to take your keys when you exit your vehicle.  Leaving the keys in your vehicle only makes you more susceptible to a crime.

1620 - call for youths in the playground of school possibly looking to climb onto roof.  Responded and walked around multiple times, but were unable to locate them. 

1800 - purse reunited with owner.

1930 - debit card reunited with owner.

2210 - loud party call in area by Evergreen landing.  All quiet upon our arrival.

Seven total unwanted vehicles located so far and will be removed from the island soon. Please

One noise complaint about the ZZ top event up town, Music was too loud near the boat while
loading in town

Information
The Peaks patrol officers along with the Down Front Ice cream store have started a bicycle
Safety campaign. If police officers or cadet sees a young safe rider wearing a helmet (and
other safety equipment if needed) they may receive a Bike Safety Reward Card, that card will
entitle them to a free Kiddie soft serve ice cream cone. We hope this will encourage safe
riding habits and help prevent injuries.

Officer Rose and FF Lt. Wallace Reported for duty

House duties completed

Assisted John, Chris and Marcus Kamp with the removal of five more unwanted motor vehicles
from the island.

0900-1800 officers assisted CBL with the unloading and loading of vehicles and passengers.

Almost every ferry was filled to capacity with both vehicles and passengers. Vehicles waiting to
load were backed up to the market for most of the day.

Three walk in medical calls for minor injuries and one significant hand injury.

Several tickets issued today for parking violations.

Three more unwanted vehicles located and will be removed from the island soon. Please reach
out to me if you have a vehicle that need to be removed from the island.

Many concerns over a vehicle parked on upper Luther St. several attempts have been made to
contact the owner to no avail. A summons will be issued for the abandonment of a motor
vehicle soon if we are not contacted by the owner.

Another deceased seal was reported on Picnic Point.

Information

1215 - found lost wallet.  Was able to reunite it with owner a short time later.

1430 - Spoke with resident about parking complaints on Seashore Ave.

1735 - report of a group drinking on the beach by public dock.  Walked the beach and dock but was gone on arrival.  Only observed a young family with small children.

2110 - checked DPW property.
