Information

Some have reported seeing a deer that appears to be sick with fur falling out in clumps, we have seen her as well. I contacted the Maine Warden Service and Phil Bosenhard (Phil runs the deer population control program) he stated that the deer is most likely shedding her winter coat and that it is more noticeable in some deer than others. She is also spending more time in open built up areas because of the high tick populations.

If you see her around there is no need to call and report it to us, take some pictures and enjoy the wildlife. Having said that, if she is acting funny or strange for instance trying to steal your golf cart of stopping by the ice cream store for a cool treat and doesn;t have money, give us a call.
