1110 - suspicious male call to area of Island Ave (600 Block).  Found a surveyor fitting the description.  No crime.

1545 - burglary alarm to the Legion.  Alarm company cleared me before my arrival.

1700 - patrolled island met 1750 ferry.

1930 - met ferry.

2030 - met ferry.

0935 - spoke with a resident who was having issues with a neighbors dog.

1455 - audible alarm coming Legion.  All set as alarm company cancelled as I was about to approach. 

1520 - patrolled island amet 1645 ferry.

1930 - met ferry and patrolled island.

2130 - met ferry.

1010 - well being check Adams.  Resident was next door with neighbor and was all set.

1230 - met ferry.

1410 - transported FD to New Island Ave. for a Knox Box situation on a residential building.

1605 - shovelled hydrants as needed.

1920 - patrolled island.

2130 - patrolled island.

2205 - locked community building.

0610 - unlocked community building.

*** Please keep in mind to not drive down by the ferry landing area to pick up cargo/deliveries when the ferry is arriving.  It causes unnecessary traffic issues and we're not always able to be at that spot when the ferry arrives.  Please wait 10 minutes so the ferry leaves and nobody is around.

1205 - suspicious male wandering near school grounds.  Made contact with him.  Possible mental issues and he willingly left the island on 1230 ferry.

1820 - medcu 12 call to Reed Ave.  Patient treated at scene.

1920 - disturbance call on Lower A.  Turned out to be a misunderstanding as the caller wasn't aware that the homeowner was home.  No crime.

1900 - theft report for a resident on Brackett Ave. Theft occurred in terminal of CBL on City side.

1920 - drove ambulance around the island because the battery has been dying on it.

1145 - spoke with owner of lost dog.  Dog was found minutes later.

1530 - met ferry and patrolled island.

2135 - spoke with a resident who was a victim of a hit and run on Congress St.  Report taken. 

2300 - locked community building.

0620 - unlocked community building.

Lots of day trippers, believe there were two cruise lines in.  Plenty of vehicles leaving the island as well.

2020 - received call from someone concerned about a passenger on the ferry.  White female with dark rimmed glasses presenting with mental health issues.  Drove around area and was unable to come up with anyone fitting that description.

2220 - locked community building.

0630 - opened community building.

0700 - arrived on island.

0800 - Special attention near school.

0920 - patrolled island and met ferry.

1130 - resident informed that they were looking for their lost dog.  Dog reunited with owner shortly after.

1430 - met ferry and patrolled island.

1535 - responded to Elizabeth Street for a an elderly female confused and lost.  Reunited with daughter and spoke about future plans.

1755 - well being check on an individual that just came off ferry.  Individual was identified as a male that interacted with in-town units multiple times during the day.  Individual was acting erratic and I was able to persuade him to get right back on boat.  Dispatch alerted to have officers wait for him on the other side in case he became an issue.

1905 - layout individual call on Torrington.  He was awake when I arrived and properly identified and sent back towards the ferry.

1950 - Engine 12 run to Central Ave.  Homeowner got their furnace serviced today but started to smoke when heat was put on.  FD cleared.

2240 - patrolled island.

2300 - locked community building doors.

Beautiful day brought a lot of day trippers out to the island but everything got quiet after 5:00 PM.

1030 - picked up city computer staff and brought them back to the station house to work on computer in office.

Quiet day.  A few day trippers with two cruise lines in port.

-1500 hours: Lost item reported at Ferry Landing.  Item retrieved and brought back to owner

-1730 hours: Met with party in regards to a parking complaint at the Peaks Island Elementary School.  Stated his vehicle will be addressed

-2200 hours: Special attention to the Community Center

-Met Ferries throughout day, (summer winding down).  No issues with traffic or lines.

1825 - spoke with father and daughter from City Point Rd. they had issues with daughter's boyfriend and decided to leave the island for the night to prevent anything from escalating.  No crime, no report.  

1920 - checked DPW property.

2200 - locked community building.

0600 - unlocked community building.

1930-  Met ferry-assisted Elderly wedding party guest getting onto boat with help from 

CBL staff. 

1938- Boat sinking on Gov't Dock. Notified Harbor Master who called Coast Guard-PFD Cavallaro responded and met Engine 12 at dock and they pumped out the boat until owner responded.

2030-  Met ferry-waved Goodbye to another wedding party. 

2130-  Met ferry-shift change-checked on vehicle on Seashore w/hazards on. Owner contacted.

2203-  Noise complaint re:wedding at Lion's club. Party already broken up upon arrival.

2230-  Met Ferry/patrolled Island

2245-  Met ferry

2300-  Patrolled Island

0015-  50 Luther St w/Engine 12 for the smell of propane-empty gas cylinder giving off slight odor-cleared

0800 - met ferry and picked up cadet. 

0945 - found owner of lost wallet and gave it back to him. 

1030 - argument on ferry line with two islanders. Spoke with both parties and settled it.

1310 - 911 hang up on Seashore - everything all set - pocket dial. 

1430 - picked of Officer Smith.

1645 - report of missing/stolen bike by the Inn - bike not locked up- description taken. 

1950 - patrolled island and met 2030 ferry. 

2130 - met ferry and picked up Officer Bennis. 

2300 - patrolled island - all quiet.

Very crowded and busy day with people all over but seemed to quiet down a lot when the sun went down. 

***  Lock your bike up when you’re not using it - Doesn’t make it right but why take the chance and allow someone to take it on a joy ride - Nobody is cutting bike locks out here on the island - Please help yourself and lock up your bike

1410 - Epps and Brackett for a person who fell off bike.  Transported to fire boat.
