POLICE CADET ON DUTY

House chores and equipment checks

Checked the parking lot for violations, no issues

Gave SA to the island for underage golf cart drivers, two cart with young looking drivers, no
violations.

Gave SA to the ferry area due to HUGE numbers of people and vehicles. CBL ran extra ferries
and sent overflow ferries throughout the day, approximately 200-300 passengers left behind on
several trips.

5 medical calls Friday, some treated locally and others sent to the ER via fireboat. One dog bite
report summons issued.

Patrolled the Island

Information

Pack 349 Boy Scouts (Webelos) from Buxton came to Peaks Island to complete a community
service project. They were sponsored by the Portland Police Department.
They picked up trash at several beaches and fire pit spots filling two trash bags. In addition
they explored some of the island’s forts and enjoyed ice cream. I will post pictures of this
project soon.
