0700 hours:  Shift change. Report to duty with Lt. Wallace.
0715 hours: Vehicle maintenance and inspection 
0730 hours: Special attention to Welch St. lot
0900 hours: Received call inquiring about abandoned bicycle
1000 hours: Responded to Upper A St. to assist in city code enforcement.
1400 hours: Traffic crash at 89 Central Ave. Report taken
1430 hours: Traffic complaint at Welch/Island Ave.  Party was instructed to move vehicle blocking roadway.
Met ferry throughout the day as time permitted.
Patrolled Island throughout day.
-When in line for the car ferry, please do no block the crosswalk at Island/Welch St.

1030 - met ferry.

1145 - patrolled island.

1430 - met ferry.

1540 - transported Marine unit and FD personnel to DPW for meeting.

1750 - met ferry.

2030 - met ferry.

2110 - patrolled island.

2210 - checked DPW property.

1220 - patrolled island and met 1230 ferry.

1430 - met ferry and patrolled island.

1620 - patrolled island.

1750 - met ferry.

1930 - met ferry.

2130 - met ferry and checked DPW property.

2230 - medcu 312 run to Hussey Rd.  Patient transported to fire boat with out incident.

0700 Reported for duty with Firefighter Lt. Messenger

Tried to serve paperwork on Luther St, no contact

Checked the parking lot for violations

Gave SA to the island for underage golf cart drivers

Checked the area of the landing for a male subject in medical distress, located one very

intoxicated male subject who left on the ferry.

Checked the area of Seashore and Ocean Spray, check the wellbeing for an older male subject

walking his dog. He was not reported to be in trouble but concerned that he may be lost or

confused. He was not located. Due to our quick response it’s believed that it was not who we

were worried about.

Patrolled the Island

Information

Please keep an eye on your children, several very young kids were playing too close to the roadway and had to be returned home. It only takes a second for something tragic to happen.
