0800 - met ferry.

0905 - responded to 56 Island Ave. for a well being check.  Negative contact.

1000 - patrolled island and met 1100 ferry.

1230 - on-line training.

1350 - attempted to make contact with resident from 56 Island Avenue again.  Negative contact.

1430 - met ferry and patrolled island.

1530 - met ferry.

1645 - met ferry and patrolled Central Ave.

1750 - met ferry.

1900 - patrolled island and met 1930 ferry.

2130 - met ferry and checked DPW property.

***Please remember that all vehicles being driven on a public road must have insurance on them, including island registrations.

Assisted DPW with towing the ladder truck to the barge

Patrolled the island and made contact with some of the owners of the abandoned vehicles.

Patrolled the island and met ferries throughout the day

Attended the Peaks Island Council meeting and talked about the abandoned vehicle

  

 

 

Safety Tip

The police department is working on arranging a car donation plan, where your vehicle (drivable or not) can be donated to a charity. Our hopes are that this will be little to no cost to you. In addition you could receive a tax deduction or 2-3 nights’ free stay at a hotel/motel.

1110 - Medcu 12 run to the health center.  Patient transported with out incident.

1150 - dropped off item at 750 Seashore Ave. for the patient from health center transport.

1245 - continued EMS protocol training.

1430 - met ferry.

1545 - patrolled Brackett Ave.

1645 - met ferry.

1750 - met ferry.

1930 - met ferry and swapped out FD personnel.

2130 - met ferry.

2200 - checked DPW property.
