0700 - arrived on island.

0715 - drove around perimeter of island.

0800 - met ferry and assisted FD in changing out Medcu 12 for a spare ambulance. Medcu 12 headed uptown for maintence work.

0920 - drove around island and met 0945 ferry.

1100 - met ferry.

1210 - drove through Central Ave. and met 1230 ferry.

1415 - drove through Brackett Ave. and met 1430 ferry.
1530 - met ferry.

1630 - drove around perimeter of island and met 1645 ferry.

1750 - met ferry.

1900 - drove around perimeter of island.

1930 - met ferry.

2030 - met ferry.

2110 - checked DPW property and met 2130 ferry.

2245 - met ferry.

2330 - checked Lion's Club.

0700- Officer Rose on duty 24 hours

0800-0700 Met boats and routine patrol of the island


Gave SA to Island Ave due to heavy morning traffic


Gave SA to Island Ave due to Mental Health concerns of and islander


911 hang up call in the area of Upper A St nothing found


Safety tip of the day


Please turn off your emergency dial to 911. This came become very serious issue when dispatchers are dealing with these calls instead of real emergency. please don't give your old non working cell phones to little kids, even though there might not be service they still dial 911.

1245 helped lyndon ave resident capture an injured northern gannett,

now that was a show i wouldn't want to make you tube!!!!

1415 met ferry

california resident called to say that she was called by a central ave witness and told that strangers had entered her home on central ave... found the womans husband and daughter packing their belongings.

1515 met ferry

1600 checked out a suspicious ladder against a house on new island ave

1610 car horn sounding on new island ave, found door key in gas door, battery disconnected

0700-Officer Daniel Rose on duty for 24 hours

0800-2345 Met boat through out the day, with routine patrol of the island.

0900-House details


Responded to City Point Landing for the report of an unknown white substance discharging from the storm drain. May be related to the Water District testing.


Medical transport to Maine Medical Center for a possible broken leg.


Found purse returned to out of state owner.


Medical tip. If you suspect that you or a loved one has a broken bone please report it as soon as possible! A delayed response to this injury can be very dangerous to your health, resulting in possible increased pain ,internal bleeding and clotting, permanent disfigurement from healing wrong and at the very least a delayed recovery period.

0930 - drove around island and met 0945 ferry.

1100 - met ferry.

1215 - drove through Central Ave and met 1230 ferry.

1430 - met ferry.

1530 - met ferry.

1630 - drove through Brackett Ave and met 1645 ferry.

1740 - responded to area by the ball park for juveniles lighting fireworks. Soccer practice taking place with adults on scene. Unfounded.

1930 - met ferry.

1940 - medcu 12 run to 116 upper A street. Patient not transported. Patient checked and released.

2030 - met ferry.

2130 - met ferry.

2230 - checked DPW property and met 2245 ferry.
 
The Health Center on Peaks is opening next Monday 10/15/12.
 
The call in number to make appointments is 874-2466. That is the main Portland number.
 
All calls will go through this for continued coverage. 
 
Patients can be seen on Peaks (Summer hours until end of October: Mon-Wed and Fri)
                             (Winter hours end of October until Spring: Mon and Thursday)
 
*Remember that on days when when we are closed on Peaks... Kitty can still see you at India Street Office.
Please tell the person making your appointment that you want to be seen on Peaks.
 
An informational "Open House" for the community is being planned at our Peaks Clinic. Hopefully we can do that on a Saturday morning to accommodate people's work week.   I will let you know as soon as that is finalized.
