Several tickets issued today for parking violations.

Three more unwanted vehicles located and will be removed from the island soon. Please reach
out to me if you have a vehicle that need to be removed from the island.

Many concerns over a vehicle parked on upper Luther St. several attempts have been made to
contact the owner to no avail. A summons will be issued for the abandonment of a motor
vehicle soon if we are not contacted by the owner.

Another deceased seal was reported on Picnic Point.

Information

The Peaks patrol officers along with the Down Front Ice cream store have started a bicycle
Safety campaign. If police officers or cadet sees a young safe rider wearing a helmet (and
other safety equipment if needed) they may receive a Bike Safety Reward Card, that card will
entitle them to a free Kiddie soft serve ice cream cone. We hope this will encourage safe
riding habits and help prevent injuries.
