Peaks Island Children’s Workshop Fire and safety talk

Check a house for sale on Church St. That house should remain empty except for the realtor. Owner of the home thinks someone might try and get in there to host a party on November.

Met the Ferry throughout the day Patrolled the Island

Checked the island for possible candidates for the upcoming abandoned vehicle tow  

Information

The Portland Water District will be disconnecting the summer water feed next Monday the 17th

0800 - met ferry and patrolled island.

1640 - responded to area of Luther St. for bonfire.  Fire put out by resident without incident.

Special attention to the Lion's Club.

Patrolled island and met ferry throughout day as schedule allowed.

Boat fire reported between Peaks and Cape Elizabeth unfounded

Assisted CID with an investigation and contacted the suspect.

Medical call, transport to MMC

Met the Ferry throughout the day Patrolled the Island

Assisted DPW with their flag hanging

0730 hours: Vehicle maintenance and inspection
0800: Met ferry
0820: Special attention to Welch St. lot. 
0830: Patrolled Island
0930 hours: Met ferry
0945 hours: Patrolled island
1100 hours: Provided medical attention to party who came to station.
1215 hours: Special attention to Battery Steele
1430 hours: Met ferry
1530 hours: Met ferry
1645 hours: Met ferry
1700 hours: Parking ticket issued in Welch St lot for vehicle parked in a handicapped spot.
1715 hours: Report of dog running around near City Point.  Upon arrival, owner had dog in truck.
1830 hours: Patrolled island/Special attention to weddings
1930 hours: Met ferry
2030 hours: Met ferry
2045 hours: complaint of dog barking outside near 8th Maine.  Upon arrival, owner had brought dog inside.
2130 hours: Met ferry
2200 hours: Patrolled island/check of American Legion.
