***Please remember to let your renters/summer guests know that the same rules/laws that apply in town or at home also apply here on Peaks Island. If you are operating a motorized vehicle--like a golf cart--you MUST possess a valid driver's license. Seat belts are required. Bicycle helmets for children are required. You cannot ride on the side rail or tailgate of a pickup truck. While we encourage you to lock up your bike so it doesn't get "borrowed", you cannot lock your bicycle to the benches in the covered waiting areas. The bikes will be removed and locked to a nearby bicycle rack by DPW.
