0800- met ferry-PFD shift change
0945- met ferry
1030- patrolled Island
1100- met ferry
1230- met ferry-patrolled Island
1330- met ferry-extra boat due to excess number of passengers headed to
Peaks..
1345- checked the area of Daniels & Herman Ave for a report of a golf
cart being operated by person that did not have a license-reported that it
looked to be a pre-teen driving-unable to locate. Neighbors thought they knew
who owned the cart and another neighbor reportedly spoke to the occupants
informing them of requirement of a driver's license. Golf cart was not to be
found.

2030- met ferry-patrolled Island
2130- met ferry

rules/laws that apply in town or at home also apply here on Peaks Island. If you
are operating a motorized vehicle--like a golf cart--you MUST possess a valid
driver's license. Seat belts are required. Bicycle helmets for children are
required. You cannot ride on the side rail or tailgate of a pickup truck. While
we encourage you to lock up your bike so it doesn't get "borrowed", you cannot
lock your bicycle to the benches in the covered waiting areas. The bikes will be
removed and locked to a nearby bicycle rack by DPW.
