-Children should know how to respond to the sound of a smoke alarm. Teach them to get low and get out when they hear it. A child who is coached properly ahead of time will have a better chance to be safe.

0700 Reported for duty with FF Lt Bragdon
0730 Lt Bragdon and I assisted LPA personnel loading 12 vehicles to be removed from the island.
Update voluntarily donated vehicle:
This program removed 12 vehicles from the island while raising $675.00 for the PICW and $100.00 each for the American Legion, the Fifth Maine and the Baptist Church!

I would like to thank John, Chris and Marcus Kamp of the Island AAA service and Kamp Masonry Landscaping. In addition Lionel Plante and associates for the barge service and expert loading skills, Billy and Dustin our Police fleet services crew for the unloading and Sgt. Rand for his support during this process.

I am now making a list for another round of vehicles to be removed. Please let me know if you want to be added to that list.
