0700 - arrived on island.
0720 - patrolled island and met 0800 ferry.
0945 - met ferry.
1100 - met ferry and patrolled island.
1230 - met ferry and patrolled island.
1400 - patrolled Central Ave and met 1430 ferry.
1530 - met ferry.
1630 - patrolled Seashore Ave and met 1645 ferry.
1750 - met ferry and patrolled island.
1930 - met ferry.
2030 - met ferry.
2130 - met ferry and checked DPW property.
2300 - responded to the area by Evergreen Landing and Knickerbocker Rd for the coast guard.  They called and stated that a resident from Great Diamond Island observed two red beacon lights going off around the area.  Checked all surrounding areas was unable to locate anything.  Contacted the coast guard with the results.

*** All vehicles driven on the road must have insurance.

0720 hours: Report of Stolen golf cart Island Ave.  Report taken.
0745 hours: Call of suspicious gold cart parked on Central Ave.  Ended up being golf cart which was stolen.  Golf cart returned to owner on Island Ave.
0945 hours: met ferry
1000 hours: patrolled island
1140 hours: assisted Medcu with medical call on Welch St.
1245 hours: patrolled island
1430 hours: shift change with Officer Smith

1420 - minor vehicle accident in front of 13 Brackett Ave.  Accident report taken.
1530 - met ferry.

1900 - patrolled island and met 1930 ferry.
2030 - met ferry.
2115 - checked DPW property and met 2130 ferry.

***Please remember that the Welch St. lot has a 72 hr. parking limit.

0700 Reported for duty with overtime Officer Richardson Lt. FF Bragdon

0730 House chores and vehicle inspections

0730 Monitored traffic and parking issues all day due to very high foot and vehicle traffic. Minor issues nothing of note

Summer Police Cadet arrived and worked the landing area all day

SA to Island Ave for golf cart parking and possible code violations. No illegal activity noticed

Three total medical calls, two very minor with no action taken and transport to MMC.

Per request, SA to 49 Winding Way for unwanted subject on the property

Addressed several fire permit questions and monitored locations for violations.

Patrolled and met Ferry throughout the shift as calls permitted

 

 

 

Safety Tip

When calling 911 for bee stings please advise operator if there is past history of allergic reaction.  When stung or bitten by insects expect some pain, swelling, redness and itching for a short time after.
