(another Islander reports getting an odd call from a non-English speaking man claiming he was from the IRS and was going to send authorities to her home-she did not give him any information. DO NOT give out any personal information over the phone-there are still some nice unsuspecting people who could be fooled-please remind your family and neighbors)
 

Peaks DPW workers are doing a fabulous job of keeping the streets clear during storms. Do your part and move your cars out of the road during Snow Bans. All the piles of snow left from going around cars with the plows make it hazardous and limit parking spaces as well.
