0700 hours:  Shift change.  Reported for duty with FF Lt. Wallace.  
0730 hours: Vehicle maintenance and inspection
0800 hours: Report (theft).  Fifth Maine Regiment banner stolen from Welch St. fence.
0930 hours: Medical call.  Island Ave.
1030 hours: Unlawful fire call Lyndon Ave.  Fire was in an enclosed pit and was fine.
1720 hours: Unlawful fire reported on back shore.  Party had permit, jut a bit too windy and was instructed to shut it down.
1930 hours: Call for a lock-out of car on back shore.  Provided service.
2200 hours: Medical call on Island Ave.  Party transported.
Met ferries throughout day as time permitted
-When playing Pokemon Go, please keep your eyes on the road whether you are walking or riding a bike.  Catching a Jigglypuff or a Geodude is not worth a trip to the hospital.

0700 - arrived on island.
0800 - met ferry and patrolled island.
0950 - parking summons issued on Island/Brackett.
1100 - spoke with Marty(DPW) about the parking rule changes on Island Ave. across from Hannigan's and Cock-eye gull.  'No parking' signs coming down immediately with '2 hour' parking signs to replace them as soon as they receive them.
1630 - responded to a residence on Central Ave.  Spoke with resident about a neighbor he was having problems with.
1830 - drove around Island after receiving a call about erratic golf cart operation.  Unable to locate.
2040 - responded to area of 176 Sea Shore for a cooking fire on rocks.  Was small and had a permit.  
patrolled island and met the boats as time permitted. 

*** Please remember that golf carts need insurance as well as a island registration.

0700 - arrived on island.
0800 - met ferry.
0820 - patrolled island.
1100 - made contact with resident on Central Ave. about on going landlord/tenant dispute.  Made arrangements with them so he could pick up his remaining belongings.
2000 - parking violation on Welch/Island.
0010 - responded to area around 500 Island Ave. for loud music playing.  I found it.  Couple agreed to shut off music for the night.
Met ferry through out day as schedule allowed.

0900 hours: Boat complaint Evergreen Landing, Harbor Master notified.
0930 hours: Parking complaint Welch St. lot.
1040 hours: Talked to suspects of boat complaint at Evergreen Landing.  Tied up to mooring that wasn't theirs.  Misunderstanding on their behalf.
1430 hours: Officer Haley second police officer. 
1530 hours: Golf cart warning given.
1830 hours: Broke up camp site at Battery Steele
2245  hours: Officer Lauterbach second officer.
0000 hours:  Assisted FD with medical call at ferry terminal.
Gave special attention to wedding at Jones Landing throughout evening.  No Issues.
Met ferries throughout the day as time permitted
When having an outdoor fire, be aware and courteous of where the smoke is going.  If the smoke is traveling right at someones house, chances are they will call us and the fire will be shut down.

1720 hours: Female came to station with small cut on arm and leg..  Medical treatment rendered.

1500 hours: Report of kids jumping off Ferry Loading Bridge.  Only kids spotted were jumping off end of pier.  Kids were warned to stay off bridge.
1520 hours: Civil dispute on Island Ave.
1530 hours: Assisted with medical call at station
1700 hours: Storm with high winds came through. Storm knocked over few power lines (Brook Ln, Meridian St.)  CMP notified.  Assisted FD.
1820 hours: Harbor Master K. Battle requested assistance notifying party that a boat has capsized during storm.  Owner contacted.
1910 hours: Report of illegal fire on beach.  Small cooking fire observed.
2200 hours: Report of load party on Herman Ave.  Special attention given, nothing loud heard.
2245 hours: Officer Smith relieved Officer Taylor.
2330 hours: Party broken up at Battery Steele.  Numerous underage kids present but all ran away upon arrival.

1400 hours: Ferry delayed due to medical run, Hawley took fireboat out for shift change
relieving Connolly.
1515 hours met early ferry, running late due to medical call

1645 hours met ferry, lots of people left behind due to lack of space on boat
1650 hours: report of people drinking while driving golf carts- GOA
1805 hours: met ferry 2 drinking in public warnings, report of band cutting car ferry line(they did)sent to the rear of the line, 2 drunks who fell(refused treatment)

1000 hours: Call for service at Evergreen Landing.  Reporting party wanted car moved.  Unable to locate owner.  
2050 hours: Call for construction after hours on Church St.  Individuals were done upon arrival and left.
0330 hours: Medical call Ocean St. 
Monitored wedding at Jones landing throughout night.  No issues.

-Make sure you are drinking plenty of water to remain hydrated.  A good goal is to try and drink 64 oz of water a day.
