Often called the silent killer, carbon monoxide is an invisible, odorless, colorless gas created when fuels (such as gasoline, wood, coal, natural gas, propane, oil, and methane) burn incompletely. In the home,
heating and cooking equipment that burn fuel can be sources of carbon monoxide. Make sure you have a carbon monoxide alarm in addition to a smoke alarm.

Pass on to your company/renters that they could save a significant amount of time and frustration by leaving their cars on the mainland when they come to Peaks for a vacation. The taxi and golf cart rentals are a great option that will save them time sitting in a car ferry line waiting to get off Island.
