Make sure all family members know what to do in the event of a fire. Draw a floor plan with at least two ways of escaping every room. Make a drawing for each floor. Dimensions do not need to be correct. Make sure the plan shows important details: stairs, hallways and windows that can be used as fire escape routes.

0700 - arrived on island.

0715 - responded to area by Picnic Point.  Caller stated they pulled a floating kayak ashore.  Bright orange 14 ft. "Tsunami" kayak with no other identifying markers.

0930 - met ferry.

1015 - patrolled Central Ave. and met 1030 ferry.

1130 - met ferry.

1150 - patrolled island.

1220 - spoke with owner of kayak.  She was able to recover it.  Daughter hadn't pulled it up high enough the night before and the tide took it off land.

1230 - met ferry.

1400 - report taken from 20 Island Ave. for criminal mischief to a motor vehicle.

1430 - met ferry and swapped out PD back-up officers.

1530 - met ferry and patrolled island.

1645 - met ferry.

1730 - responded to 47 Willow St. after neighbors called to report suspicious behavior at location.  The neighbors did not recognize the couple that made entry.  The owner of the home hired them to clean the house.

1905 - responded to area of 1 Seashore Ave. for a 911 hang-up call on cell phone.  No signs of any one in distress when I arrived.

1930 - met ferry and patrolled island.

1955 - checked on small cooking fire by 176 Seashore Ave.  Permit was obtained through city website.

2030 - met ferry and assisted Casco Bay Lines with two unruly passengers.

2130 - met ferry.

2245 - met ferry and swapped back-up officers.

***Remember that the Welch St. parking lot has a 72 hour parking limit.
