0700 Reported for duty with OT Officer Leadbetter and FF Lt. Bragdon
Completed house duties around the station
Picked up Summer Police cadet
Monitored traffic on Island Ave and issued 5 parking tickets
Checked the island for un-permitted fires. SA to Seashore for fires
Medical call for a broken wrist transport to MMC ER
Monitored traffic at the ferry line. Heavy vehicle and pedestrian traffic all day.
Met the Ferry throughout the day as time permitted. Many vehicles and people left behind, CBL
did an outstanding job trying to move everyone around.
Land/tree removal dispute
0130 Walk-in minor head laceration, no transport.
0245 Lower Ledgewood complain of possible theft. No complaint intoxicated group fighting
over cigarettes.

Please be patient during these summer months. Most of the issues today were caused by impatient islanders trying to push or bully their way around the island. Blowing you horn nonstop will not solve anything.
