Peaks Island Health Center
87 Central Ave.
Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM
Kitty Gilbert, Family Nurse Practitioner, provides care for all ages.
Please call either 766-2929 or 874-2466 for an appointment.
The Health Center Board is pleased to inform the community that the Peaks Island
Fund has awarded funds to the Health Center for the purchase of an audiometer, a
diagnostic tool for identifying hearing loss in children and adults.
Also, the Health Center and Maine Medical Partners are excited to be in the
final planning stages for a new, flat-screen monitor for our waiting room. It
is an educational tool which will provide office updates to patients, share
wellness and health messages, and highlight videos featuring MMC's skilled
providers. This new service should be online and on-screen, starting in
October. Stop by the practice and take a look!
A Reminder to Health Center patients: When you need care and the Health Center
is closed, you may contact Kitty or another provider at the offices of Portland
'Family Medicine (at 874-2466) on Congress St., just a short distance from Casco
Bay Lines.
