0800 hours: Approached by individual who wanted us to know that one of the golf carts parked in the Welch St. lot has a dead battery.  They will have it fixed for the weekend.
1030 hours: Assisted code enforcement with inspections.
1130 hours: Special attention to Battery Steele.
1400 hours: Special attention to back shore.
1500 hours: Special attention to Welch St. lot.
2100 hours: Special attention to back shore.
Met ferry throughout the day as time permitted.
Patrolled Island throughout day.
-Make sure everyone in the family has sat down and gone over in detail an escape plan in case of a fire.

1340 hours: Report of a disabled vehicle with gas leaking on Island Ave.  Leak was treated, vehicle removed by owner.
1440 hours: Report of Camper blocking roadway on Crescent Ave.  Owner not home.
1545 hours: Report of lost dog, owner located him short time later
1620 hours: Located owner of camper, he stated he will get it in his driveway.
Met ferry throughout the day as time permitted.

-With it getting darker earlier, make sure your bike is equipped with a working light.

0930 hours: Report of two bikes stolen from Island Ave.  One bike was located a short time later on Brackett Ave.  
1200 hours: Special attention to Battery Steele throughout afternoon/evening form The Sacred and Profane.  Event was well attended and crowd was well behaved.  
1800 hours: Special attention to Welch St. lot.
Met ferry throughout the day as time permitted.
Patrolled Island throughout day.
-When raking leaves in the cool weather, it is still important to remained hydrated by drinking plenty of water.

2130 - arrived on island.

2245 - met ferry - power outage at approx. same time through out entire island.

2330 - spoke with resident at station house about on going custody issues with ex-spouse.
            Service provided for now.

0030 - patrolled island. 

0110 - checked DPW property.

0700 - met ferry and swapped out FD personnel.

0720 - patrolled island. Power was still out but received update that CMP was arriving shortly.

0755 - Medcu 312 run to Upper A st.  Patient transported without incident to fire boat.

0845 - most power restored on island.  Problem was contributed to a faulty transformer on the back shore.  
Residents who had down trees and wires are still without.

1000 - spoke with resident again about on going custodial issues with her children and ex-husband.

2300 - Checked DPW lot.

2320 - special attention check to Winding Way.

Met boat through out day as schedule allowed.

Please remember to wear a helmet when riding a bike.

0715 hours: Vehicle maintenance and inspection.
0745 hours: Special attention to Welch St. lot.  
1000 hours: Person came into station to state that he was the victim of a wire fraud case.  Wanted us to be aware and will get in touch with his bank in case a report is needed.
1115 hours: Special attention to Battery Steele.
1500 hours: Report of a hit and run on Luther St.  Truck was sideswiped and left a distinguishable yellow paint transfer.  No suspects  at this time.
0010 hours: Disabled motor vehicle (Island/Welch). Vehicle was pushed to side of road.  Occupants were brought home.
Met ferry throughout the day as time permitted. 
Patrolled Island throughout day.
-When riding a bike, make sure you stop at stop signs, especially at the bottom of hills.
